Your hosts are Caroline Hudson and Steve Campbell…………
Caroline is the manager and comes to Ika Lahi with many
years experience on the water. She ran "Ladies Hooked On Fishing" and
"Suddenly in Command" boat safety seminars throughout NZ and is also a
qualified skipper. She has a passion for all water
adventures and tropical island life.
Steve is a qualified skipper and certified IGFA captain and brings to Ika
Lahi 15 years game fishing experience. His previous game boats "Reel
Passion" and "Reel Obsession" worked both New Zealand and South Pacific
waters and is credited with NZ's first Grander Blue Marlin (1007 lb on
37kg line) as well as numerous Club and Tournament wins.
Here in Tonga, Steve has been top skipper/boat for 7 consecutive years
with the most billfish caught or tagged each season. He is also credited
with a first for Tonga and the South Pacific region with Four Grand Slams
in a season.
Steve is president of the Vava'u Sport Fishing Club (VSFC), and executive
member of
Tonga International Game Fishing Association (TIGFA) and is the Tongan
IGFA Representative (International Game Fishing Association).
